The Westgate's décor is enchanting, reminiscent of a timeless palace with its ornate chandeliers and warm, inviting lobby. I particularly adored the spacious layout, making it easy for seniors like me to navigate comfortably.
Trolley noise could be disruptive for light sleepers.

Despite its elegance, the hotel suffers from outdated amenities—the in-room safe requires a debit card, and there are not enough easily accessible power outlets. No complimentary coffee in the mornings feels like a letdown for a hotel of this stature. The surrounding area has seen better days, with the nearby plaza closed and an unsettling presence of homeless individuals nearby, which can be quite disconcerting, especially for those unfamiliar with the locale.

The Westgate features a stunning blend of elegant decor and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive, especially at check-in, where Al from Valet and John Mark at the doors made my arrival seamless. My room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and fantastic shower, providing a peaceful retreat despite the downtown location. The rooftop pool was an added bonus, offering a relaxing space for downtime.
No water fountain on floor levels.

Incredible staff and beautiful decor!
I had a lovely stay with my family in a spacious Deluxe Double Room, and the staff truly made us feel special, right from check-in. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed its convenient location to local attractions. However, the trolley noise could be somewhat disruptive for light sleepers.

The staff's attentiveness was truly exceptional, making every interaction pleasant, from the friendly greetings at check-in to the personalized service throughout the stay. The charming decor and vibrant rooftop pool added to the experience, yet the noise from the nearby trolley station disrupted sleep regularly, affecting overall comfort. Although the location is appealing, it may not justify the high price point, particularly when noise interruptions persist.

While the hotel has an elegant lobby and friendly staff, the rooms feel somewhat dated, with noticeable wear and tear. The noise from the trains can be disruptive, and some amenities like the refrigerator were not as promised. Overall, it was a decent experience, but improvements are needed.

What a lovely stay! The room was spacious with charming decor and the rooftop pool is just divine. I felt like royalty strolling through the classy halls!
But the ice machine hunt felt like a scavenger hunt, and my phone was more reliable than the WiFi! Spoiler alert, it's not great for a hotel.

The staff created an unforgettable atmosphere from check-in to check-out. Special recognition goes to Al from Valet, who was friendly and helpful, and Madison, our bartender, who was attentive and made excellent recommendations.
The room did not have sufficient soundproofing.
